RoadTrain® Packaged STPs – Robust and Reliable
Hydroflux Epco’s RoadTrain Packaged Sewage Treatment Plants have been delivering reliable sewage treatment solutions since the late 1960s. Designed for minimal on-site attendance, they are ideal for remote locations, including towns, villages, resorts, and mine sites. Available in three process designs—Extended Aeration Activated Sludge, Rotating Biological Contactor, and Membrane Bioreactor—RoadTrain systems can accommodate 60 to 1,000 EP in a single train.
BioCAP® Fixed and Floating Digester Covers
With a heritage of design expertise dating back to the 1960s, BioCap Digester Covers are engineered to withstand the challenging conditions of anaerobic digesters. Available in both floating and fixed cover designs, BioCap has been successfully applied to primary, secondary, and mixed sludge streams. Hydroflux Epco also provides comprehensive digester pre-treatment solutions, including sludge screening and thickening, ensuring optimised performance and efficiency for municipalities
Epco Clarifiers – Decades of Proven Performance
With over 60 years of design expertise, Hydroflux Epco clarifiers are engineered for reliability, longevity, and optimised performance. Available in sizes up to 50 meters in diameter, they can be configured as full or half bridge designs with fixed or peripheral drives to suit diverse applications. Our proprietary LogMax®, VeeMax®, and HeadMax® sludge removal systems ensure efficient and adaptable operation across a wide range of municipal water and wastewater treatment processes.
LimeFlo® Saturators – trusted since 1962
With decades of expertise and a proven track record, Hydroflux Epco has manufactured over 330 clarifier systems since 1962, including Lime Saturators. Our LimeFlo saturators offer a dependable solution for pH and alkalinity control in water treatment plants. Each system is designed with a saturator-clarifier tank, weirs, hopper, and sludge rake, complemented by lime recirculation, slurry dosing, and sludge waste management for efficient and reliable operation.
HyPURE® Membrane systems – MF, UF, NF and RO
Hydroflux Epco designs, supplies, and installs high-performance HyPURE membrane filtration systems for water and wastewater treatment, including MF, UF and RO. The latest innovation, HyPURE NX, features advanced hollow fibre nanofiltration modules, providing significant advantages over traditional spiral-wound designs. This cutting-edge technology enhances water reuse and potable water treatment, supporting sustainable water management.
HyDAF® – Ultimate Dissolved Air Flotation
The HyDAF Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is the preferred choice for Water Authorities in municipal water and wastewater treatment, offering simplicity and exceptional performance in municipal applications. It has been successfully utilised for potable water clarification, Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) thickening, and algae removal from ponds, as well as effectively supporting phosphorus precipitation. This versatile and reliable solution enhances water and wastewater treatment processes across various applications.
HyGRID® – Robust Aeration Frames
The HyGRID Aeration Frame by Hydroflux Epco is an innovative modular support system specifically designed for the AEROSTRIP® fine bubble strip diffusers, offering a highly efficient and flexible aeration solution. Available in stainless steel or a cost-effective mild steel version, the HyGRID Frame can be custom-configured for various tank sizes and easily removed for inspection or maintenance without draining or entering the tank, significantly reducing process downtime. Lightweight and adjustable, the frames are delivered in kit form for simplified transportation and on-site assembly, and feature integrated guides and dedicated lifting points to ensure precise, level installation.
LaunderShield® – Preventing Algae Growth
The LaunderShield system from Hydroflux Epco enhances clarifier performance by preventing algae growth in the launder trough, effluent weirs, and scum baffles. Constructed from interlocking fibreglass or stainless-steel hatches, it provides full coverage, blocking 100% of sunlight to eliminate algae formation that can compromise clarifier efficiency, increase maintenance, and reduce effluent quality.
CleanSweep® Roller Brush System
The CleanSweep roller brush system from Hydroflux Epco is a highly effective solution for combating algae growth in clarifier launder troughs, addressing one of the most persistent challenges in wastewater treatment. Algae buildup in clarifier launders can obstruct flow, reduce operational efficiency, and increase maintenance efforts. CleanSweep tackles this problem directly with a well-engineered, automated cleaning system that ensures the launder remains clean and free of algae.
HySludge® Containerised Dewatering
The Hydroflux Epco HySludge is a compact, containerised dewatering system designed to efficiently reduce liquid sludge volumes using mechanical thickening or dewatering technologies. Typically, incorporating a HUBER S-DISC or Q-PRESS, with alternative options available based on volume requirements, provides a flexible solution for sludge management. The fully integrated system includes feed pumping, polymer makeup and dosing, and a screw outloading unit, all controlled by an integrated control system.
